Biography:

Nanette Awad has served on the American Health Information Management Association Taskforce as a Privacy Subject Matter Expert for the national RHIT and RHIA exams. She is an active member of the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA), the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), and the California Health Information Association (CHIA).

Nanette Awad, RHIA, CHC, is the founder and president of Privacy Officer, LLC, an alumnus of Saint Louis University's Health Information Management Program. Nanette was inducted into the Jesuit Honor Society at the top of her class.
